Mercedes-Benz W114 250ce for hire in Newbury
Hire this Mercedes-Benz W114 250ce for your event
This is a unique opportunity to hire in what is possibly the lowest mileage, best preserved RHD 114 Coupé in existence , without question, unique and unrestored with just 25k miles from new.
With time warp cars, there is always a story to its preservation. Purchased new in the summer of 1970 from Mercedes Great West Road, Brentford, by Mrs Capriotti as a present for her husband, Emilio Capriotti. Throughout the 70s the car was used only for special occasions, always garaged and maintained by MB Great West Road. Unfortunately, Emilio died on Christmas Day 1979. Since then, the car, was locked away in the garage and untouched until 2010.
Finished in Classic White with black MB Tex interior and equipped with the desirable automatic transmission. This is the, more desirable, pre-facelift version, it has the prettier taillights and steering wheel with separate horn ring.
This 114 is in incredible condition throughout. It has never been restored yet retains that elusive freshness of new with immaculate paintwork and bright trim. The rubber seals remain soft and pliable, and the interior is quite simply as it left the factory. Being garaged throughout its life has meant there is no sun damage whatsoever. The sun visors still have their plastic covers on from new.
The fuel-injected 2.5-litre straight-six starts quickly and runs beautifully. On the road it performs effortlessly with a tightness and refinement that you only find in very low mileage cars.
